I have combination skin and don't like the feeling of sunscreen being sticky or oily on the face. Even worse, when it leaves a white cast and doesn't blend with the makeup. Dr. Ceuracle sunscreens feels like a serum. The texture is quite thin so it doesn't even pass as a light or gel cream. It has a light smell but not the typical sunscreen smell. Even though, I have fair skin, I don't like it when the sunscreen has a white cast. This doesn't happen with this chemical sunscreen. To be honest, I was not a fan of the product at the beginning since I felt it left the face feeling oily. It wasn't the product, I just didn't know how to make it work for my skin. After applying the sunscreen you have to leave it so it gets absorbed by the skin and then you don't have the wet feeling on your skin. I either apply too little face cream in the morning or none, before I apply the sunscreen . The product by itself can work well as a moisturizer so you don't need an extra step. However, in my opinion, this way works better for combination skin and oily skin. Another remark for the product is that it gives a shine to the skin that it may look like oily skin. If you don't like the effect of glowy skin than this product doesn't work for you. I also haven't had any problems with breakouts when using the product. It layers quite nice with makeup and doesn't pill.
